The esteemed Rabbi, Bevnov Fredklin, was talking to some of his students about God, creation, and ourselves. Here is the text of his talk: "God's words are alive, and once spoken live in his creation forever, sustaining that which was created by his words." "There is no matter, or material thing, in existence. All is just God's words remaining alive, with that covering." "God is writing his story throughout his creation, speaking his creation into existence, by his words." "God's word of love brings all into existence, and so everything that exists contains a soul, or a part of his God-consciousness within it too, from a rock, to a tree, to you, and to me." "We are all part of God's painting." "We are not God, but a product of his work, kept alive by his word living within us, and his consciousness spark of our soul, acting as the connector between our human body, and God too." "Nothing can exist on its own, and so we cannot say that that tree over there is God, it, like us too, is merely a product of his artwork." 'We should not separate the artist from his work, as if we do this, we lose contact with the truth, the artist, and live in our own artificially created separate world then instead." "Any questions?" One student popped up his hand, and said: "Rabbi, just who is God?" The Rabbi, stroked his long beard thoughtfully, before he answered his student, like this: "God is not God to God. God is only God to you. To God, like you, God is just himself. God never asks himself where he came from because, unlike you, he has always known that he is God. You be you, and let God be God too." love this - we were talking about God the artist. this is a great piece. Love the God is just himself. i would argue though that God is not a him or her.

Thanks, Scott. Some here, on our planet, would argue whether they are him, or her too, though, so it might be better to leave God as just God, and let him/her decide who, and what, they are to themselves too. Only the person, themselves, truly knows who they are to themselves.

@innertalks God is God no he or she. our concept of what is binary is likely to amuse God.

@DocAndersen Even a binary, or a non-binary, can fill roles though, like a father-figure at times, as some religions claim of God too. We create the role, and God, as the malleable substance that he/she is, love, will always fill it with himself/herself, or whatever he/she/it truly is. Love is love, and non-binary too. There is no duality in love. Duality comes about because of non-love.

God is God and we are his creations but not byproducts. With strenuous discipline, we can establish an unbroken connection and keep it going. However, we are driven by ego and hubris to put ourselves above society, creating divisions overriding the unbroken love that would only elevate our lives. We are on recall without notice and hence it behooves us to rise to the occasion and even punch above our weight but inspired by love. We need a realignment from what we are used to, shifting to God-consciousness that only can unite us.

Of course, It's only the presence of God, or his word that keeps all else in continuing existence. If God said, No, all would disappear, overnight. Yes, better connection to God, allows us to hear his words better too, and so to keep God more alive within us then too. Only we can kill off God, within our own selves, and this is our freedom to do so, but in the end, God has the last laugh, as we cannot continue long without allowing God's presence to be a very real part of our lives too.

@Shiva49 Yes, throwing God into our own mix, doesn't mix stuff up for us, it actually clears it up for us...lol..

@innertalks The more distanced we are from our creator, the more we experience loneliness and emptiness here. Pursuing our lives as we want to but keeping God in mind will help us towards an enriching and enchanting journey. We have enough freedom of choice but we also know what matters through keeping the connection ever alive.
