Sunday Thoughts : Now let's talk about Miscellaneous and etc.

Well, the topic heading might be amusing. The point is that at times we talk to someone about :"We have miscellaneous things to do" or A, B, C etc. Yet often the things, activities or happenings that come in such things have a big role in our life. Revealing everything in that to the others might mean mocking or being laughed at.. For e. g- If I have to put loads of clothes into washing machine twice in a day, bring grocery from outside and teach something to kids, some people might say "What is the deal? " Some ultra conservative are of thoughts like "Why you being a man are attending to washing machine chores, drying clothes or attending to kids. " But such things mean a lot to us and need time and effort in our part. Thoughts and views?

The world is changing and with more and more women taking on jobs household chores become a joint responsibility

@allknowing Yes changes are happening but I still find some people glued to old bias and thought processes.

In the past men were not supposed to help women doing the dishes, cleaning, laundry and so on, but now, with many women working, this is very common.

@LadyDuck Yes things are changing but there are many who still resist change.

Glad to know that you think this way. Not everyone thinks like that. I too feel one can share every responsibility equally including household chores

I don't think doing a particular thing should only be assigned to men or.women. Gender is out of the issue here. My husband does the dishes and laundry if i.can't do it.

I appreciate man who do many house chores. My brother wife's is super lazy, so he did all the house chores including laundry, ironing, cleaning floor etc

@Vree0937 It is fine if one is unwell and cannot share responsibilities but else one should not be over burdened. I try to do as much possible, except when I have very critical office meetings. Still, in some very urgent cases, I have had to talk a few off days as well.
