Grace Baptist Church Pastor Shannon Foote who is also a chaplain with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office (JPSO) 3rd District in Crown Point is doing his part to thank the first responders by repairing their roofs free of charge after the damage of the houses in Southeast Louisiana from Hurricane Ida that landed in the region in late August. Pastor Foote is getting help from volunteers from his church as well as materials donated from his community as a way of showing Christian love to his community to rebuild damaged property after a natural disaster. When a natural disaster hits a city around the world, volunteers and church charities come to assist the needy citizens to rebuild the town that has been knocked down and getting ready to come back to come back to a normal life once again.
