I finished the chicken with mushrooms and the rice for lunch. And as I was checking some recipes online I came across a recipe for polenta (they did it like I do it). I have some chicken broth still to mix it with milk so I´ll eat polenta this evening. What will you have for dinner today?

I love polenta. I had a Meals on Wheels lunch -- cheese omelet, sausage patty, carrots, applesauce; and later on I had some ice cream.

@marlina Sometimes. There are some of the meals that aren't my favorites. But at least we get some food every day. I was getting tired of soup and protein bars every day. I can't cook anymore; and hubs rarely cooks.

I have only tasted a sample of polenta at the grocery story. I never buy it because it is more expensive than grits.

I've never had polenta, I will find out about it online. I had chicken stew with coleslaw. Oh my gosh, polenta is basically cornmeal, I've eaten it many times and I love it!

My husband loves polenta with gorgonzola cheese melted on top. I will add only some butter and Parmesan cheese.
