Tiger Hill is located in Darjeeling and it from there one can see the first sunrise hitting the Mount Himalayas.
We struggled through this journey getting up at 3 in the moring to reach there but the clouds decided to get there first.
One of several travel disappoints.

Darjeeling was one trip I made with my family when I was seven years old. Have been to the place a few more times but it was not a travel trip. We went there to meet our uncle who was posted there for few years. Don't have much fresh memories about the place. Sorry you missed the sunrise. I bet that is beautiful. I have heard a lot.

To get there from our hotel travelling by jeep with all those ups and downs and not seeing it was surely a disappointment.

Actually we had the plant to look at the Himalayas from close quarters by taking a small plane but the day we decided there was the same problem. It was hidden from view
