Why am I so thankful today?

God is so kind, so merciful.
Today is a very precious for me and for my wife.
Out of trials and sufferings I have overcome with the great love of my Lord, my God Jesus, I am so grateful of the life I have had today.
I am now 70 years old so as with my wife. We have a synchronous birthdays - October 13.
Another year is ahead of me, I have to hurdle it with unwavering faith to my ever loving, never-ending and unfeigned love of my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus.
Thank you dear Lord.

It is Jesus Christ who kept me from giving up the fight. Different trials I went through, it seemed like my life wasn't worth a nickel.

That's rather unusual, both 70, and on the same date too.
God must have brought you together for a reason, as he has reasons behind all the blessings, and behind all the sufferings too.
