In 1965 The Beatles began recording their sixth UK album Rubber Soul with recordings of new songs like 'Run For Your Life' and 'Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)'. In 1968 Big Brother and the Holding Company were at number one on the US album chart with Cheap Thrills In 1974 The Bay City Rollers were at number one on the UK album chart with their debut album Rollin' It included three British chart hits 'Remember', 'Shang-a-Lang', 'Summerlove Sensation' It was also the debut of "Saturday Night" which was a sensation in the US. In 1975 Rod Stewart and The Faces made their final live appearance at Nassau Coliseum, in Long Island, New York. They had four albums as a band First Step (1970), Long Player (1971), A Nod Is As Good As a Wink... to a Blind Horse (1971) and Ooh La La (1973). In 1979 Fleetwood Mac came out with their twelfth album Tusk In 1985 Jennifer Rush was at number one on the UK singles chart with "The Power of Love" Celine Dion also made it to number one with her version in 1991 In 1991 Simply Red were at number one on the UK album chart with their fourth album Stars It featured the singles 'Thrill Me', 'For Your Babies' and the title track 'Stars.' He was 53 and had had 15 songs on the Billboard Top 40 Pop chart ten of which went to number one. In 1999 The Bee Gees were honored on the island of their birth The Isle of Man with six stamps honoring them. Their mom had run a loacal post office on the island. In 2008 Oasis were at number one on the UK album chart with Dig Out Your Soul It was their seventh and final studio album In 2014 British singer and songwriter George Ezra was at number one on the UK album chart with his debut album Wanted on Voyage. The album's title is a reference to the sticker used on the suitcase of Paddington Bear, who was Ezra's hero when he was a child.
