Ugh, What A Night.

Obviously, I don't mean that in a good way, hence the "ugh". I had a rough night with very little sleep. Granted I stayed up too late, that wasn't the issue. First of all, my dogs were barking at anything and everything. We took the a/c out, and right now, we need the window open with the screen in or it'll get stuffy in here. So of course they have to bark at the smallest noise or even someone walking in the park (across the street). Even with the shade down. Secondly, my stomach was killing me. Something I ate didn't agree with me, so that kept me up for a while. :( And finally, my fan broke when I was trying to re-adjust the head, but it didn't just break... it went ballistic on me. It was all shaking and making noise, and when I tried to grab it to hold it still like an idiot (I wanted to check it), somehow the blade sliced my finger. Luckily, it wasn't bleeding as much as I thought it was, and I took care of it (after my brother-in-law checked it). It still hurts a little, but I'm okay. Keeping it covered until it heals because the wound isn't completely closed and I'm not trying to get an infection. Also, I'm lucky the blades were plastic and not metal, or that probably would've ended BADLY for me. But yeah, I'm not running on much sleep, even with sleeping in, but I have a 1,500-word order that's due around 1am or so tonight, so a nap is out of the question right now. My work for this client is usually fairly easy (just lengthy) though. I definitely need to try to get to bed earlier. Ugh, what a night. I'm going to get started on my work. The sooner I finish it, the sooner I can laze about for the rest of the night. Photo Credit: Pixabay.
