Rain, rain, STAY! Not normal to hear that, is it? Well, they say that rain in the morning will temper the chances for severe weather in the afternoon. Someday they’ll get the forecasts right. Speaking of “someday,” here’s another song with “someday” in the title. #7: It All Comes Back Someday - John Hiatt I was thinking about altering the title of a song to ”Someday Saved My Life Tonight,” just to get a favorite in the countdown. No need, as Mr. Hiatt fits the bill quite nicely thank you. My favorite living songwriter — who just released his first new album in seven years (thank you, John!) — keeps cashing those royalty checks from other people covering his songs to put his kids through college (except for Lily, who’s out making music on her own….saw her opening for her dad one night). So he keeps making music for his fans, not for the masses, and we keep digging him. So you’ve never heard this song unless you’re a John Hiatt fan. And I am, so I have.
