A Birthday Fail

This year the fiance's birthday was on a Friday. So with no football on, my plan was for us to go out and do stuff, like go to a theme park or something away from home. For a mini us vacation like when we went to Water Country, but this time staying somewhere overnight. But he wanted to wait til a few days before his birthday to see how he felt before actually making plans.. and unfortunately he kept going to bed and waking up not feeling good again, so a day or two before we decided to just stay home. Then on his birthday the same happened. Which made me feel so sad for him. Even though he personally doesn't care for birthdays, especially his own.. And what made it worse was I ended up not feeling good either after we left to at least go out to eat. So we ended up only being out long enough to make a quick stop at BestBuy and Target to pick up a few things. Then a few hours later when I felt better my mom and I went out to pick up Wendy's for us and my grandmother who was visiting for the week since they were the only place really open now.. And Chinese for the fiancé. We ate then watched tv and eventually went back to bed. But he still didn't feel good so it wasn't a good or fun day at all. He doesn't really care though, just felt bad that our plans couldn't be done and I just hate how sick he's been almost every day. And maybe we'll be able to do something another time.
