I am going like an Andean Ekeko.

The Ekeko is in the Andean culture a god of abundance and prosperity in the mythology and folklore. As you see in the picture, he goes with a sack full of goods. That´s exactly how I´m going to Tania´s house today even though I have said no to many things she has asked in several phone calls. I was particulary confused when she said that I had "offered her" some flip flops. I have not offered her anything. And if she wants to see if I have an extra pair, she will have to dive into my closet. I´m past diving now. The last thing I placed in one of the bags is a VW-40 spray. I´m lending that. I told her why didný she buy one. She answered that it was too expensive. YEEEZZZ!!! She asked me if I could take something to drink. She said she only had Aperol. So be it, I said. I guess the Uber will charge me extra with all the things I´m taking. See you tonight, friends. Now I must go.

So that is in some ways the "Santa Claus of Andes" !! If Uber cab is just taking you, then why to charge extra even with a little extra luggage? Or are they fond of overcharging customers there? One day, someone said to me in another discussion that I am asking too many questions. May be yes. But then I just ask what comes to my mind and in a proper and a decent manner.

If I went with other people plus all this, they might charge it as luggage. You can ask all you want I love this little Ekeko. And now that you say it, it is like a Santa. But for the natives it is more serious.

@marguicha They worship Ekeko a lot? How many natives would be still in Chile and Argentina? A few thousands?

@marguicha I think in the ancient Andean culture, nature would have played a big role and so the worshipping of such forms. In a way, similar to what the Ancients followed here as well.

I had lots of fun but it was tiring in spite of a nap we took. We worked a lot. Now I have not only 2 pillow cases but 2 extra pillows. They were Claudia´s and she was going to throw them away so Tania got them. She gave them to me today as I have the king size bed.

Oh my goodness. Our children try our patience sometimes, don't they?
