After hearing a lot about Avocado I got a few which my friend brought for me. Eagerly I started eating it but just could not get to like it. Every one is raving about this fruit but I have yet to acquire a taste. I sowed those seeds and I now have two healthy saplings. By the time they start yielding perhaps I will get to like them. Do you like avocadao. How do you eat them?

I'm not very fond of avocado even though they're supposed to be healthy.

We love avocado! But here we treat it more like something you would put in a salad rather than "fruit". I like them when they are between hard and soft . . . not too soft/mushy though. We dice and put them in various salads or in a Mexican style tortilla soup. And we make guacamole to eat with tortilla chips . . . mashed avocado, lime, white onion, tomato, cilantro, hint of salt.

There are many ways to eat avocado. Most popular here is we mix with milk and sugar then chill. Another way is mix with tomatoes with salt and pepper.

I haven't found a good way to have it. Usually I just use it to make fruit salad. This fruit tastes so so for me but I heard some people say avocado is quite delicious. So I think this is only my problem. I shall find a good way to make it taste well.

I eat them in several ways. I use them in green salads, adding them diced to lettuce and arugula. I mash avocado to make guacamole or even just mashed avocado with salt and oil to use over bread. I cut them in half and stuff them with shrimp and a bit of mayo to serve on a bed of shredded lettuce.

I have heard a lot of good stuff on avocado but couldn't bring myself to drink or eat the fruit. I have tried avocado facial scrub though and it's quite okay; cleans quite well.
