There was a shooting in Kenosha which the media keeps calling a mass shooting. I really hate when they use this title for there headlines. Maybe it is just me but when I think of a mass shooting the first thing comes to mind is some idiot shooting up a school or a business, taking out a bunch of people.
Well in this story it was 5 people shot and 3 of them dead. Is that a Mass Shooting? I mean it is 3 people dead but let me tell you a little more about the shooting. So, it was in one house, and it was all people related by choice. This was a domestic violence situation that they are calling a Mass Shooting.
From what I can understand of the new report, there is a 24-year-old man, 17-year-old girl and 18-year-old man that are now dead. A 35-year-old woman and 14-year-old boy survived their wounds. As the story is told the 17- and 18-year-old were boyfriend and girlfriend.
Not a lot to go one right now I guess but why would this be called a Mass Shooting just because it is more than one person shot? Or just to have a catchy headline to get more people to read the story?
