I ordered pizza from Pizza Hut today. I had to update my address. The little Special Instruction box didn't allow enough room for what I needed to let the delivery person know where my apartment is located. At the complex where I live, there are 23 units in a square-ish configuration, each with its own exterior door. I'm located at the south end of the east side of the complex. As you can see in my title, I'm located in the southeast corner of a single story complex on the west side of the street.

I hope the pizza arrived. I would not be able to locate it if I were the delivery person.

Yes, he did. He also set my order on the folding chair that I set just outside the door.

They should give more space, but if that unit is doing their job correctly (and you're a new customer) they should've called to varify and taken down adational instructions then.

I agree that there should be more space. I'm sure that if they had any problem deciphering my "code", they would have called.

He came right to my door. Back in '76 when I delivered for Pizza Hut, there was no internet so we took directions directly from the customer on the phone. I bet nowadays, after seeing shorthand in texts and such, it gets easier to decipher instructions like the one I gave.

I would have given the delivery guy an extra tip just for figuring out the code! Haha I would have been so confused.
