I had a sale in May I think from which I made $4.50. To get paid on Lulu, I need a minimum of $5. Unless I get another sale I will not see this money.

book sales can be tough. You could offer your services to a local library to showcasee your items and maybe they would buy some for you to put in the community facility.

Maybe hiring someone to market my books for me would help but I cannot afford to do so.

How are you advertizing? What kind of books do you write?

@lovebuglena Have you tried selling on amazon? I have a friend who's written and published I'd have to say, two novels... though I've forgotten. I know I bought one of her books and am still kind of working on it.... if I can remember where I had that kindle installed.

I have one poetic tale and one novel. The rest are poetry books and lyric books. Some books have poetry and lyrics in them. And some even have some prose in addition to poetry and lyrics.

My friend published some books with a vanity publisher. One got picked up by a publisher. It was about the railroad. She had to go to small stores all around the state and convince them to sell her books.
Have you tried Amazon? The best bet is to make the public aware of it. Books mentioned on Oprah became best sellers. If you could get someone famous to recommend them, you have a chance to sell more.

Haven’t really been doing that in a while. I should maybe try to post some of my poetry on Instagram. I did that a few times. Not a huge amount of likes but then nothing I post gets a huge amount of likes anyway.

Have you considered putting them in ebook or audiobook. I know several people who goes that route.
