Being part of an agrarian country, making rural communities close to rice fields, making it a source of life that is inherent in behavior and daily life. As an expression of gratitude, every year the community holds a traditional Kebo-keboan ceremony. This traditional ceremony that is hundreds of years old, there will be dozens of people dressed up like buffalo who will escort "Dewi Sri" to sow rice seeds in the fields. This sacred ceremony is routinely held at the beginning of every Suro month of the Javanese calendar. The series of traditional kebo-keboan ceremonies began a week earlier with a prayer procession and a pilgrimage to the grave of mbah Karti, an ancestor of the village of alasmalang who started this tradition 300 years ago. This is one of the unique traditions in Java, there are many other traditions that can be found here

@florelway Yes it's so hard to keep the traditions passed down from the past, but some people are very enthusiastic about it

I'm not sure if we have anything like that. We celebrate every year the Poet who wrote about a mouse

@JimBo452020 Yeah that's true, many cultures have been forgotten, therefore we must keep the cultures that still exist and must be preserved

@JimBo452020 Each region must have its own culture, including yours, maybe that's one of them
