I went with Claudia to buy plants. The plants were few and expensive. I wanted to buy a lot of impatiens (cheap and hardy) and there were none. The man in the nursery told me that there weren´t any in all nurseries around Marigolds were very expensive and quite crooked. But I bought a few because I don´t know where I left my seeds. I´m sure that I´ll find them when it is not the proper season to plant them Claudia bought the only peach tree there was. I hope it is a good one. That and some small plants, were my birthday present for her. I´ll go on looking for my lost seeds. Now they have become a rarity.

It seems strange that so many things are becoming scarce because of the pandemic. (We have some seeds for different flowers and veggies we bought last year. I planted bell pepper seeds three times this last spring but the squirrels ate the plants as soon as they sprouted. We finally brought the pot in for the last seeds I planted. They grew but never set on any peppers.)

The big nurseries probably closed during the pandemia.
