Maybe its time to burp

I am delighted to be out of the wind and the night and home in one piece. Or peace. The milestone retirement get together is done and over with. Hubby really had a good time. The back room of the pizza parlor really rocked with talk and loud cheers. Hubby made a good speech. We ate too much salty and tasty pizza, introductions were made all around- some of the paratransit drivers were there, a counselor from another office as well as the general office. Supervisor set his phone up so that daughter in Arizona could listen to some of the hullabaloo as well as have her say. I'm glad she got in a way to be with us. I sure miss her and I miss her voice. We went home with frosted cupcakes and some gifties and cards. Hubby will go into the office one final time tomorrow. I should round up library books and return them. And before I go to bed tonight, think about walking the dogs after I drop hubby off in the morning.
