Today Daniel came to fetch some junk I had in my garage. It was second hand as my brother had put it on the curb years ago when he remodeled his home.
I am a hoarder and I knew that someone I loved would need it someday.
So today he came for some toilt appliances. But I also showed him a big gass window that used to belong to my bathroom. And he noticed some lamps I used to have at home many decades ago, when our then house had very high ceilings. I bought second hand wrought iron big lamps. I called them "Robin Hood lamps" as they were like those that Robin Hood used to jump from one end of the castle to another when many soldiers were trying to get him.
He took one today and he will think if he needs the other later on.
Little by little I am uncluttering my house. I still don´t know if I will finish it in this life.

I understand and it is good to get rid of stuff not to leave it for people to clean up after we are gone.

It is good for both of us. I need to give away part of my things and he needs them

Yes. Daniel will come in march to get some other stuff, once he gets his house finished.

Decluttering is a never-ending task. We still have tons to go through. If we have to move to an old folks home, it will take forever to get rid of everything.
