Robert Mejias who is employed as a bellman a the Florida days resort in Orlando Florida when he used his CPR training that his employer made him as well as every employee made them do to prepare them to be used in case of a real life emergency happened to occur. On August 24, 2020, Robert was on a higher floor of the resort putting down the luggage of a guest where he saw a two year old boy facedown on the swimming pool who was not moving at all. Robert then ran down the ground floor by taking the stairs and see if he could revive the boy who had been taken out of the pool by someone nearby. Robert knew that the boy needed to revive by using his CPR skills that he learned two weeks earlier. Thanks to his ability of never giving up, the young boy did awaken from his near death experience and he has fully recovered. Robert was awarded by the industry where he is employed the "Outstanding Bell Person." for saving the life of the boy. Robert insists that the best reward was that saving the life of the child is what makes him happy. The question is where were the parents when the child fell into the swimming pool? They were lucky that Robert was there to save their child that day 14 months ago.

Robert is humble, but a great hero to that child. Yes I agree, where were the parents?

I like a humble person better than someone who toots their own horn. I guess the child went away from the parents were distracted for a second.

It seems like the parents need to be taking better care of their child.

It's sad how children fall into such accidents. A child recently fell from the first floor of a building.

I agree with you since he did obey his employer to take CPR courses.
