A Gravestone in the City

When I went to the Rizal Park in my city, I am a bit disturbed seeing a gravestone of our national hero in the park. It is quite big and unusual to find this here. I find it funny because it is timely to remember the people who passed away for All Saint's Day tomorrow. What is your thought about it? Is it a bit weird to have it in the park?

It's not a gravestone. It's a memorial stone. It's to remind people of how much you, in the Philippines, owe the man for your freedom... That reminds me. I've got a video about that I want to share with my Philippine friends. I'll make a discussion about it.

@Shavkat It would really be weird if that was actually a gravestone in a park...

I can't really say. I don't know much about the context.

It is fine if you can say anything about it.

Is it really a gravestone (he's buried there) or a memorial? We have memorials here in town.

It is just a memorial. I find it weird that the local officials did this here in the park.

No wonder. We have some parks that are the tombs of emperors.Beiling Park is the largest park in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, covering an area of 3.3 million square meters. In 1643 (the eighth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty), the mausoleum of emperor Taiji of Emperor Taizong of the Qing Dynasty and the mausoleum of boljijit, Queen of xiaoduanwen, was completed. In 1927, Fengtian provincial government turned the Zhaoling Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty into a park, which was named because it was located in the north of the urban area.

I've been to Beiling Park. It's well built and large. You can also row a boat

I do think that there are so many majestical places in your country. Unfortunately, I was not able to see them before when still working in your country.

@Shavkat China is very big, and I have never been to Guangdong. I have been to Hangzhou and Nanjing as far as possible, because I have been in the north, and Guangdong is the southernmost city
