There are many places around the world that I would love to see but this one has to be among my top 10. These Chinese archaeological treasures are 2,200 years old and this is the biggest burial site on Earth. Amazing, huh? They were made of fired clay and each was said to resemble the worker who created him. They were done in 210 BC and there are 8,000 of them. Can you imagine? They were found in 1974 by farmers, Yang Zhifa, his five brothers; and a neighbor, Wang Puzhi. The warrirors were found in the Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi. What a find!

Ya gotta wonder what was behing all that, and if they were made to resemble the workers who made them, those must have been some talented horses.

I had a travel there in 1997 and I saw the Terracotta Warriors. Actually there are quite a lot of old ruins there. It was a nice trip and I also liked the food there. By the way, I bought the copy version of Terracotta Warriors and they are small size. It is a nice souvenir.
