Knowledge from my weight loss group!

Here is a few tips from my weight loss group I joined a couple months ago I am really glad to be part of this group even though I'm not buying there products (that work ) shakes ECT I do get alot of benefit from this group she put alot of good advice and some great tips as seen in the pic if you can't read it I will tell you what they are 6 small changes for big results Switch to sugar free drinks Protein with each meal Water before each meal Greens with each meal Half your portion size Eat more fruit I think these are some great tips As I am looking in the future to lose weight before I gain to over 200 I'm at 194 now so I better be starting soon lol If all else fails from dieting and I do gain I will be doing the shakes from her group order because I have seen the results and they work But for now I'm currently doing the slim fast shakes and gonna try the slim fast meal for a week box at Walmart just to see how thst does But I'd say soon I will at least try the shakes order them there fairly reasonable I hope theses tips are helpful to someone Thanks and have a wonderful day

I agree with most of those, but switching to "sugar free" drinks can be risky. The alternitive they use to sweeten those drinks, has been reported to be responsible for other health complications.

Yeah you have to look read labels as to what other substitutes there using ..I don't know how healthy they are but I love the gaterade zero free sugar free .. you can't taste the difference ..but your right you gotta watch

@Nana49 I've found, trying to moderate is better over all. Though, I really should try to drink more water.

@kaylachan Yeah I can lose 5 to 10 pounds when I go straight water and get off the colas cause I drink way too many I try to quit then I start right back

I mainly drink water, and a cup of milk maybe once a day. Only lemonade if out at restaurants. Nothing else really. Love chicken so that wirks for me. And i barely eat so definitely portion.

@Nana49 I'm not overweight now. I'm under that by about 5lbs. But i was overweight for about 5 years at least until just a few months ago.

Me too lol I'm close to 200 yikes .. at my highest I weighed 225and I. Was miserable So I wanted I eniugh so I lost 50 pounds on my own plus wallking every day . But now I have stopped walking don't have the heart for it and it's getting colder so I don't go out unless I have to in the cold So. I'm still hoping to lose just not sure how yet

@Shavkat YEAh portion size counts alot My problem is I drink too much soda and eat late at night .you would think if you know your problem you could fix it right lol I can try anyhow lol

Water is so good for you .I need to start back I use to drink tons of water now I drink alot of pop and ive gained weight for it so I need to get back on water

Another thing to look at is the emotional side. Why are you eating what you over eat? Are you bored? Upset? What can you sub instead of eating something- I am not saying I am perfect at this. Very much not so. Just don't give up on yourself. Write down what you have acomplished and give yourself a pat on the head for that. Write down little goals. Don't try to lose 50 pounds. Think about losing 1 pound then maybe 2 or 3. Good luck.

@Nana49 My daughter has done a super job at losing weight this past year. Amazing. She works hard at discovering new and tasty vegetables. She says that protein levels must be high to keep a person from feeling hungry. I try to stay busy; to do something besides filling my mouth with more calories.

Thanks for the great advice I will use it and needed it ..all those things you mentioned are very important ... Right now I drink a slim fast shake at night before I go to bed or I will get hungry and get back up.and eat every time ..just don't like to be hungry gong to bed before bed and a very bad habit but the shakes work well for that problem..

@sallypup You and me both .. I'm proud of your daughter on doing a good job I once lost 50 pounds but it was a long time ago when I was 225 and miserable I swore I'd never get there again and haven't so far so when I get close to 200 I panic cause I never wanna go there again And at that point I get serious about losing but as long as I'm under 200 I'm ok And find it harder to get motivated to really want to lose
