Pasta with pesto for lunch. / myLot

I have to thank to my freezer cleaning yesterday. I found some pesto and immediatly my mouth watered. So I cooked some pasta, put some still frozen pesto there and some olive oil and covered it with Parmesan cheese. I´m afraid that I ate a lot more than my share. So I will clean that kitchen floor after yet another nap. At least I found the product with which I will clean it. The usual cleaning liquid disappeared with the pandemia. I love basil. The whole house smells like pesto.

For me pesto also brings the memories of my maternal grandmother. (half Italian).

@LadyDuck I buy my pasta too. My grandmother spend a lot of time in the kitchen making delicious dishes and sauces. I don´t have the patience for that. I make the pesto in the blender. My grandmother used a mortar and did all by hand.

My maternal grandmother always made fresh pasta when she prepared pesto. I am often lazy, I buy my pasta.

@RebeccasFarm I do what I can. I am not going to work too much. The freezer had to be done quicker, but the kitchen floor will be done in 2 days. One day (done) so it is not sticky and tomorrow I will leave it shiny.
