A Grain Valley married couple is making news since the husband of the couple did take the advice of his wife who urged him to stop at Casey's General Store and buy a lottery ticket. The incident happened on October 23 when the husband was in a hurry to go home and watch a college football game on television. However he is happy he took the advice of his wife and stop at the general store and play the Lotto game out of frustration and to appease his wife. When the lottery numbers came up on Saturday evening, the couple found out that six of the lottery power ball numbers matched which gave them a prize of $2.4 million since they did not match the red number on the ticket which would have increased their winnings. The couple whose identities are being kept secret to avoid persons who will give them their hard luck stories have not decided how they will spend their newfound wealth. It is kind of odd that out of an act of frustration, a couple wins a huge amount of money playing the lottery.
