May I Tell You What I Dread?

As humans each of us may have fears of our own! I have mine. But there is a situation I dread.
As most of my friends in myLot know that I am a foster father in a children's home. Children 4 years old to 18 live in this child care institute. By an old terminology, we are an orphanage. But children in this institute receive care and love like the children of a normal family. They call me "Papa" and my wife "Ma".
I dread a situation when one of them might get injured and that I might have to take the child to a doctor and admit the injured child in a hospital.
Emergencies have visited us in the past years but for the last few years we have been saved from emergencies.
I pray to God every morning to keep all of us in the child care institute safe.
I thank God for he has helped us sail over rough sea quite many times.

Yes I can relate to that fear...especially now with the hospitals the way they are. Thank God for his protection.

To speak of the hospitals, some months ago, the smallest boy fell down and his head hit the floor. We took him to the divisional hospital at 9 in the evening. Finding the right department, the right doctor, going to the CT scan lab, buying medicines going up and down the floors three times, we returned home at 1 after midnight.
