A California Highway Patrol officer whose name was not mentioned happened to be in the right place at the right time on Thursday morning when he saw skid marks on California Highway 1 which indicated that an auto accident happened earlier.
The male driver of the auto that fell off of the highway at Devil's Slide in the San Mateo and Santa Cruz area did not perish since he managed to get away from his auto after it crashed into the Pacific Ocean.
The driver attempted to climb up the cliff when the highway patrol officer told the driver to stay put until help arrived in the form of firefighters of the Santa Cruz and San Mateo area who used a rope to get the driver up from the cliff where he had been hanging on for about less than half of an hour into the top of the area safely.
The driver whose name was not mentioned was taken to a local hospital where is in stable condition.
Thank goodness for firefighters and law enforcement officers for doing their duty to save lives.

You are right since the highway patrol officer is the guardian angel of the driver.

I'm so glad that the officer saw the skid marks on the road! This could have had a tragic ending.
