Even though Daytona Beach resident Pamela Mobbs passed away at age 90 in October 2020, her gift from her estate to the K 9 Unit of the Volusia County Sheriff's Office that was worth $32,000 dollars so that the police will be able to buy bulletproof jackets for the dogs that work with their partners.
Pamela loved dogs a lot especially German Shepherds began when she was a small child in England.
Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood is very happy that the estate of the late Pamela Mobbs was nice enough to make a donation to protect the K9 partners of his deputies who risk their lives to protect the citizens of their community.

@Deepizzaguy I do agree with that. In my country, they are starting to train dogs to help others, especially the PWDs.

I'm so glad that the K-9 unit will have vests to protect them. I have taken care of animals in my will too.
