The School Board

I normally do not put two discussions this close together, but I was afraid I would forget if I waited until after work. Here is what the school board said yesterday about testing and masks in our schools: Learning Plan: While a negative test is still being taken, an antibody test that shows antibodies in a person's body will also be taken as a way of coming to school. To go into masks, the building wide population of 5% must be hit. So that tells me that masks are still a possibility for us in the building. Also, they have decided that we will take the entire week of Thanksgiving off. We did that last year as well. Our principal is always good to report to us what was said and done at these meetings.

May have to do the bus thing for about two hours each day, unless their school board does the same. (it is a different district)

@GardenGerty Yes, I don't doubt that it's already been a very long school year.

I may have to work about four hours, on the bus to the other district. It is okay, though.

Wearing a mask is efficacious in preventing the virus in a way.

I like that they have a plan and not just a blanket “we’re gonna do it this way and not any other way” idea.

The school in the other town is a different district. I may have bus duty those days, but that is not much. If the weather permits, I will put up my Christmas wreaths.

Yes. I am hoping it does not get out of hand. Middle school has had to go to wearing masks for now.
