Does The Dude secretly have a canine cousin?

I was scrolling through YouTube a bit ago and ended up on a The Dodo video about a dog and his ducks. Cute stuff, right? What struck me, though, was the pup's name. The dog is The Dude. But, wait, isn't The Dude a handsome black cat? Does this mean that The Dude that we know and love at myLot has a canine cousin out there? Could this all be an alien conspiracy? The people must know.

Oh my gosh I love The Dude, the dog! The ducks were his buddies. There is room in the animal kingdom for two Dudes. Thanks for the smiles.
