At the community theater last night, things went pretty well during dress rehearsal. We're getting the costume changes lined out so that is a load off my mind. I brought 2 dresses home so that I can work on the sash on them. Then will make a bow to put on another dress after I get to the theater this evening.
After rehearsal, about 10 of us went to Denny's and I was sure glad because I was starvin', Marvin.
A little while after I got home, I went to bed and slept for about 3 hours. I was tired!!
So, tonight, I get to do the theater thing again.

I work backstage so I don't get to see the show.

@DaddyEvil It really wasn't my work. BUT, for the show that I will be doing costuming for, I would LOVE to see it. I hope that I can get enough people to do the costume changes for the actors. But, when you are in a volunteer situation, it can be like pulling eye teeth to get enough help. ugh

@bluerubymoon53 Oh, I'm sorry... I'd want to see how my work looked to the audience.

@bluerubymoon53, you had me going there for a moment. Upon reading the title of your discussion, I thought you had a CT Scan.
Reading this reminded me of my college days (more than thirty years ago) when I did costume and set design. Boy, do I miss those days. Motherhood had me preoccupied for a while.
I am glad you enjoyed your meal at Denny's and managed to get a three-hour nap in there as well.

Don't always go just by the titles!!
I remember seeing a headline that had "Marital Law" in it. I wondered which country that law was in. Started reading the article and it was about M A R T I A L Law. I hope the newspaper fired their proofreader!!

@bluerubymoon53 Don't I know it! My dad was a newspaper journalist, editor, and photographer, and my mother was a journalist. And I am a writer and have been a proofreader and editor as well. So I know all too well how headlines can be deceiving, especially since I am legally blind and have blind spots. Those missing letters, numbers, symbols (and words sometimes) can lead to some hysterical or confusing doozies.
And, as the daughter of an editor, you don't even want to get me started about the poor quality of proofreading and editing in today's online newspapers and magazines. Even those that existed over one hundred years ago are lacking when it comes to proofreading, and they should know most of all that writers cannot and should not proofread their own work.
