I just had the juiciest orange. I used one of my new knives to pare it, took away all the skin including the white part and sliced in very thin. The TV commercial is right that the knives are so good that cuts can be done thinly. I´m glad that I don´t have diabetes problems. I sprinkled sugar over it and it gave out a sugary juice Now I´ll go for my coffee and my pills. I´m doing thing the wrong way. But the orange was calling me. What will you have for breakfast? See you

I have never liked oatmeal, not even as a child.

@Shavkat I have always had bread for breakfast, not cereals.

@marguicha I sometimes have a sandwich if feeling lazy to prepare oatmeal.

I cut the oranges the same way, I do not want any white part. I already had lunch, for breakfast we had toasted bread with butter and home made orange jam and fresh Greek yogurt.

This new knife is wonderful. I had a wonderful small knife a couple of years ago that misteriously disappeared when I had a maid coming here for some time.

@LadyDuck That happens too. But I don´t let anyone but Leticia go into my kitchen. I like help to vaccuum and the like.

@marguicha May be your maid did not steal the knife, she threw with some peels. They do not pay attention.

I had a cookie, and that was entirely my husband's fault. No, really. Unbeknownst to me, he bought cookies last night for his snack. This morning, he presented me with coffee and cookies. Oh, let I was going to say no to that... He can be a bad influence.

@marguicha I dream of being in a place with fruit trees in the yard and having fresh fruit for breakfast. I don't know if that is going to happen or not, but a girl can dream... At least, this morning's breakfast of dolmas was healthier. I think that dolmas definitely are better for me than cookies, and they taste better. I wish that my husband loved dolmas the way that he does cookies; it would be better for both of us.

@Icydoll I was thinking about boiling some pasta and add the rest of the olive oil from the escalivada and some pesto. Easy and I can clean the escalivada dish without losing any thing.

The Oranges look great. It is dinner time here and I might do with Jam/Butter with Bread. I had a heavy combined Breakfast and Lunch and then Tea. So not much for Dinner.

I miss some tenderized prunes I used to get at the supermarket. I don´t dare buy them online. They can bring anything.
