Another request has flown in! This time, @JamesHxstatic requested flying songs.
No relation to the flying nun. 
He wrote a discussion about airplanes, and one thing led to another.
So you get a two-fer: songs with “fly” (or flying, but no flown, so no money on “Norwegian Wood” showing up 
), and songs that have airplanes or airports as their theme.
Yes, someone’s going to make a visit on both countdowns. 
Meanwhile, enjoy this Albert E. Brumley hymn that George Jones made is own (as he tended to do with every song he covered).

Now you’re just fibbing that you’ve never heard of George Jones. Even people who hate country music have heard about him driving his riding mower to the liquor store.

@FourWalls I honestly have never heard of him. My grandfather rode is riding mower to the gas station once.

@NJChicaa — I can see that, because that cuts down on having to buy a gas can. Only problem is that you might be out of gas by the time you get home.
I’m shocked, truthfully. Most people know George Jones’ name, like Willie Nelson’s or Loretta Lynn’s, even if they don’t know anything by him, or couldn’t pick him out of a police line-up.
