My Dog Gives Me Turndown Service Every Night

This picture is the start of my bedtime routine every night. I swear he can tell time. Every night at 9 p.m. my dog Patton disappears from the living room and gets in my bed. First he just pushes the blankets back a little bit, it almost looks like a nest. By 9:15 he has the sheets and blankets pulled down like they do at a hotel. If I don't go in the room by that time he comes back to the living room and thumps the couch with his tail and runs back to the bed. It's like he's telling me it's time for bed. As a kid my parents gave me a bedtime. Now as an adult I feel like my dog is giving me a bedtime. It's really cute. When I get into bed he puts his head on the pillow next to mine and falls asleep. I think it's one of the cutest things he does. It's sweet to go to bed with a little smile because he does that. Now I'm so used to it that if I wake up during the night and he's not there I don't sleep as well. You might laugh about it, but sometimes he acts like a little person. Do any of you sleep with your pets? And what kind of pets are they?
