Annoying phone calls

So I had three annoying phone calls today. The first was from a man who said he could help with my debts ! He said he had information that I had debts and was struggling to pay these.. I asked where he had his information from and he admitted that he hadn't got anything. The second was from a lady wanted to know which were the popular brands of household goods ....surely the stores are the places to find that out. The last was a puzzler...a lady rang and said the system was down and could she ring tomorrow to do a survey ! I'm just so fed up with these types of calls ...how do you deal with them ?

@traceyJayne I was on too form with a cold caller today!! He asked “Is that Fiacre?” I said “Do I know you?” He said “I’m calling on behalf of xxx” I said, “Well if you don’t know me it’s inappropriate to address me by my first name. Learn some manners”. He hung up. I felt good.

@TraceyJayne I ask them if they could give me any tips on managing vomiting and diahorroea. Another enjoyment is to say, “Excuse me, what would your grandmother think if she knew you were doing this sort of thing?” You may also wish to sing to them or invite them for coffee in the café in the Sydney Opera House. I’m so good at this kind of thing that I don’t get these calls any more. I seem to have been black listed. I miss having this kind of fun.

Fiacre's ideas sound the best. Mostly I'd just hang up which isn't very entertaining.

I have a scaning app on my phone that filters out most spam calls. A few slip by, but for the most part it works quite well. I have silent hours, where do not disturb is on. Today, I recieved two calls, that did not ring because of Do not disturb. If I can, I reject them and send them to voicemail, or answer and hang up. There really isn't any good way to deal with them.
