Question: 'Do you speak with emotion?'

I am not sure about you, guys. When I speak, I must use tone and emotion to put life into my words. This is how I communicate my feelings along with the words to people. For the writing part, I can sense the real feelings of the writer through his wordings. By the way, when expressing ourselves, we need to enhance our facial expressions and body language. We do not want to look like a moon face, don't we? Can you determine the writer's emotions through his or her writings? Image Credit: cdn.dribbble.com

With strangers I always show a happy face so that I don't sadden them if I happen to have a bad day or whatever. With close friends I let my true emotions show.

@rebelann I can show my bad emotions only with my immediate family. I do not have close friends offline now. In fact, I am closer to my virtual friends like you.

Whenever I talk with strangers up close, I do show my emotions sincerely. Of course, I am also checking him or her out if what's the best approach for him or her.

It's so easy to misunderstand a person's feelings and meaning from a text. We need to see their face and body language.

I agree with that. Some couples are into arguments for misinterpreting the words used in texting or sending messages through mobile phones.

Most of the time when I read someone else's writings I imagine how they are feeling while writing. Its exoressed through writing and sometimes we can get the wrong idea on how they feel

I agree with you. That's why it is good to read novel books to determine the real emotions that the writers wanted to convey.

At some point, emoticons are useful here. It can depict the real meaning of our comments here and there. Or, even the composition of our discussions.

@Vree0937 Writing is better than speaking. Some people do not think before speaking. For writing, we can able to edit it.

I am quite a character when teaching online. All the emotions are being practiced depending on what personas are the students online. I was once tagged as a good performer despite not liking to teach young learners.
