Visiting my parents for the first time in a month.

Usually when I am at work I maybe go to my parents one day in the week for tea. My Mister and I always get a Chinese takeaway and eat that with my parents at their house on a Friday and we usually go round for Sunday lunch. Mum cooks lunch and I make a pudding and take that round. It may seem that we are there a lot, but we only recently ...in the last year … moved out and as I am an only child ….albeit grown up ….they have been used to having me/us around. We also only live five minutes away and my Mister has lost both his parents many years ago. However I have been poorly the past month and my Mister has had Covid so there was no way we were going to put them at risk. So today, they picked me up and took me shopping with them and I have come home with them and had lunch and am going to be staying for tea too. So lovely to be able to give my parents a hug.
