The Indian Kofta

Had Koftas made from raw banana for lunch yesterday. This is a special dish made in India where it can be made from both vegetables and non- vegs. I ingredients are boiled and smashed with salt and some binding materials like, cornflour or gramflour. I did stuff the Koftas with some raisins and fried them. The spices that I used are poppy seeds, ginger and cashew paste; some cumin powder and turmeric powder. Some aromatic spices like cinnamon,cardamom, cloves and paper.

I never eat kofta of banana here we make it of potatoes of bottle gourd

I like the vegetable koftas made with gram chickpea flour, the vegetables cut finely but not cooked and mashed.

That is also a way but for raw bananas you have to boil them.
