I am finally replacing my old fry pans

Some of the old fry pans I have are no longer good, with food sticking to the bottom. I hate using them. I have wanted to throw them out and replace them with All-Clad ones as they are really good but they are expensive.
Home Goods, Marshalls, and TJMaxx sometimes have them in stock and for less than in other stores. The downside is that they are either slightly scratched or chipped. I don't want to buy fry pans that are scratched or damaged, no matter how much they cost.
I decided to check the Williams-Sonoma website today and found a set of two All-Clad hard anodized non-stick fry pans (8-inch and 10-inch) on sale. They were $55.95 instead of $69.95. That's a savings of $14. Seems like a good price, especially since it's All-Clad. I pulled the trigger and bought it. Even got free shipping. I did have to pay $4.97 tax though. They should be brand new, so I hope there will be no scratches or anything else wrong with them.

Don't you just love new cook ware? I do, too. I bet you'll enjoy your new set and for a pretty good price, too.

I can't wait to get it. Downside is when I go to track my order it says the item is backordered. I did not see that on the product page when I was ordering it. And the order email, which came today instead of yesterday, doesn't say that either. Weird. They are supposed let customers know about the backorder right away on the product page and/or order email.
They say expected delivery Dec. 10 -- Dec. 13. Good thing I have no travel plans around that time.

On the product page it said save up to 35%. The discount I got was actually about 20%. That's good too but I wonder why it says up to 35%. Even the set of 10-inch and 12-inch fry pans isn't that much.

@lovebuglena I think those sales that say "Up to...." just mean your discount will be anything up to ...., but not over..." Which means technically, the discount can be 1%, but never over 35% or whatever percent was stated.

Yes. I also wanted to buy their saute pan with a lid. But that one is about $103 plus tax. And that's a sale price supposedly. Can't bring myself to spend that much on one pan.

Sometimes it sticks a little bit but sometimes a lot. For it to stick less seems you need to add a lot more oil to the pan and I hate that.

Yeah. I got tired of always looking at Home Goods and either they are not there or they are but are not in perfect condition. Maybe that is why they are there. Or perhaps they come in good condition but then while in the store they get scratched and stuff 'cause they are not wrapped in plastic or anything. They are totally exposed and sometimes there is other stuff placed on top of them.

From what I remember one of these fry pans in Home Goods was either around $25 or $30. Seems like what I paid right now is a good price.
