I read some medical person from South Africa say it is not as dangerous as they think. But I am not sure how accurate the article is that I read.

I left a link in my box but am not sure what to believe about it yet. There needs to be more testing done before we panic.

Yeah, I heard about it too and they say it is worse than delta since they maybe be resistant to our current vaccines but it is not yet confirmed as of this time. But the good news is that we detected it early on and its spread is not yet widespread as of this time so we can slow or stop its spread further.

I've been reading about it but all I could find was that it may be more easily transmissible than the Delta variant.
Omicron has sparked alarm among epidemiologists worried the new variant's mutations could make it more transmissible. Scientists across the globe are racing to learn more as new cases are confirmed.

@DaddyEvil thank you for that extra information. So itbis not deadly as social media says. It is just easily transmitted from person to person.
