Yesterday, when Tania came to see me, she brought a liter of whole milk partly in one of those elegant gatorade bottles that she uses to take when she goes trecking and partly in a normal water bottle. Of couse, she was not thinking whether I wanted and what would I do with it. She had a problem (she does not throw away anything), she was going back to the south with Felipe and his GF and she wanted me to solve it all. Now I don´t have any place where to put it and she wanted her bottle back. So even if I was tired, I started immediatly to make a leche flan and she was very happy because she ate half of it and she loves it. But when I went to tidy up the kitchen after she went away, the bottle was still there. I called her today but she told me to keep it for her until she came back to Santiago. It made me remember once when Tania decided that the then small children should eat chicken weenies instead of the normal pork ones at a barbecue. None liked them and they decided to put them all on MY plate. JEEEZZZ!!! WHY???!!! But Tania is not a child. She is a 56 year old mother´s baby. Still my 2 daughters once in a while go back to those babyish attitudes just because mommy is there. I´ll have to keep the bottle now, probably until Christmas. If we remember.
