Trump tested positive for COVID 3 days before Biden debate

Trump tested positive on September 26--the same day he held a large, mask-less nomination ceremony for Amy Coney Barrett in the Rose Garden. Medical experts have described it as a "superspreader event". He also hosted Gold Star families, held a rally, played golf, and met with auto workers. His second test was negative but it is said that a negative result does not rule out COVID infection and should not be used for medical decisions. (I don't understand the point of the test then but whatever) When he arrived in Cleveland for the debate it was too late for him to be tested. Trump and Biden remained far away from each other on the stage but they were inside with dozens of people and many of them were not wearing masks. On October 2 he announced that both he and Melania had tested positive. That night he was hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center. Trump, of course, denied this story. But we all know what a compulsive liar he is so there is no more reason to believe him on this than there is about anything else. How irresponsible to be out there at all of those events knowing that he had tested positive. Then when he suddenly felt poorly he rushed himself right to Walter Reed. Funny how COVID was a "hoax" until suddenly it wasn't.
Then-President Donald Trump tested positive for Covid-19 three days ahead of his first 2020 presidential debate with Joe Biden -- though he also had a negative result in that same timeframe, according to excerpts from a forthcoming book from the former Rep

What a horrible, horrible man to put others in the path of "getting sick and maybe dying from it.
