Hello! I am almost half way through with my spending detox and still going strong! I did have to make one small, but necessary purchase (see below) and will also probably have to top off my gas tank tomorrow or the next day. Here’s how things went day by day: Day 6 of 14: Tues, Nov 30th: Had an online training class 0900-1130 Did 2 Shipt orders and made $39 Took an amazing nap Dropped off a few large bags of donations at homeless shelter Made a Tuscan vegetable soup (was good!) Stayed busy and spent $0.00 doing it. Day 7 of 14 (halfway done!) Did 2 Shipt orders (made $39!) Made ONE purchase of $11 from Target-groceries I needed Had a vision therapy appointment 12p-1p EMS training 630p-8p Rent is due on Friday, but I am not including that at this time. I have been holding out strong, nothing really that I have felt compelled to buy except coffees and Diet Cokes on the road! My temporary solution for this has been to bring a lot of water while driving and running errands so I can’t blame thirst on buying Starbucks. I will keep you all updated on how things go. Once the 14 days are up I will not be continuing this but I will be setting up a budget! Have never done that in my adult life so that will be a challenge. Wish me luck! How are your goals doing, financial or otherwise? Make any strides this week?

I am doing good on working on my goals on reaching at least 30 completed surveys today before Sunday where my goal is to reach at least 3,000 points plus bonus points to be paid on Tuesday by Pay Pal via Branded Surveys.

When I got sick for more than two months, it was a struggling matter financially. Now, I am trying to catch up with my new job online.

Well done for sticking with it! And maybe it will make you think again about some of those things you spend money on out of habit : )

I seriously already am .But, the funniest part, although it's only been 8 days, the part I seem to be missing most is Starbucks. I figure by now I would have spent at least $20 on fancy coffees.

way to go. I am looking at January as being a very slim spending month as a little rebound from Christmas. After than I am going to work on getting a nice saving cushion together for the future, it seems a bit dreary right now and I need to be ready for anything.
