December 2 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been another good day. With as late as I got home yesterday, I didn't think I would get to the YWCA today. I woke at 2 AM.
I'm thankful for the good workout I got in the pool and fitness center this morning.
I'm thankful I could spend time here today. Not a lot but I got here and visited with as many as I could before I needed to leave.
I'm thankful for the work accomplished at my friend's home today. I think we can get the manuscript finished tomorrow and get it published. If not, we will be very close to finishing.
I'm thankful for the new coat my friend gave me. It's a nice full-length coat that goes to my feet. It will keep me nice and warm on those super cold days. It's a mauve color.
That's been my day. It was good and now, it's time I think about going to bed. I know it's early, just after 6, but I'm falling asleep at the computer. I'll be going back to my friend's in the morning.

We have white stuff this morning. We're supposed to get 2.4 inches. That should cover the grass. I hope.

I haven't seen the 50s here in a while. We do get the 40s though. Not happy about those either. They keep my snow away.

@just4him I know, I was sure it was gas but when maintenance got here with the detectior he didn’t smell gas and the detector didn’t go off.I left my apartment to report the smell of gas and didn’t comeback until he checked it out. When I came in I didn’t smell it either. But if I get another whiff of gas I’ll call the gas company.

I am thankful roomie is going into town and getting his rent money, and also that it will be quiet here for awhile. Also, thankful that I will be getting that SS cost of living increase in January.

I think you've had a good day all the same. That in itself is something to be thankful for. So what if you end going to bed around seven, if 2 am is your usual wake up time, then you're still sleeping as much as you should. Good luck with the book, hope you get it finished.

I ended up getting up a couple of hours later, finished watching the movie I was watching, and then went back to bed to get up at my usual time. It all worked out.

Sounds like that coat will keep you really warm, I am thankful for being able to apply for two writing jobs today, I hope you have a restful night,

That coat sounds awesome. I remember back in the "good old days" we wore those long maxi coats and they did keep us warm.
I'm thankful for my heating pad!! Its helping the spasm in my back
