Plantdemic: 'The Star Begonia'

The scientific name is 'begonia heracleifolia and it is a plant that can bloom, too. This is my first time to see this from the family of 'begoniaceae.' My younger brother brought it as an indoor plant. My lovely mom loves it and it is a new baby in the family. Do you have such a lovely star begonia there?

Does that grow fruit, almost looks like it could, very neat looking plant either way.

@Shavkat Oh, so just not ripe yet. That is cool WE need plants period but so hot not much will grow here anymore but if grows food all the better.

@Shavkat - I only have my orchid inside, all the plants are outside and I only want plants that survive the winter.

No, I don't but it looks "pretty". It looks like a plant you can find in the hinterlands of Kalinga, because I've never seen one before. Good luck in growing the plant.

My younger brother got it from La Trinidad. It is the nearest city to Baguio City. I have not seen one when still working in Kalinga before.
