India was about to start on a tour to South Africa from Mid December.
The plan was 3 tests, a few ODIs and a few T 20s.
However due to the new Omicron variant, now the tour is likely to be postponed.
The Indian cricket board and the South African cricket (CSA) are likely to discuss the modifications.
Any cancellation would likely affect CSA and South Africa financially but The Indian team would also miss out on certain challenges.
Less us see how things go further.

Yes - Ajaz Patel. Interestingly he is an Indian born player who took 10 wickets against his country of birth!!
Plus he is only the 3rd player in the test history who took all 10 wickets in a test match innings.
I am planning for a whole new post on this topic!!

The tour id shortened with no T 20s.
The test matches start from 26th December.
Hopefully all goes well!
