What Do You Eat When You're Trying To Lose Weight?

A month ago I had a yearly mandatory check up. The result said that I am at risk of obesity. I am 5'4" and I weigh 61 kilos. My sugar was borderline. Because of these my doctor advised that I reduce carbs. Today, my lunch is a half cup of rice, baby sprouts, chicken yakitori, and dried seaweed.

I just saw the picture, it looks super tasty but lacks vegetables. Vegetables are great if you don't want to gain any more weight. Stay away only from potatoes and bananas, they are bread's siblings.

@Iam_jauntyjen corn is a cereal, like bread, so if you eat corn your u shouldn't eat bread or rice or spaghetti. Only one whole cereal per meal and only 3 times per day.. no cereals as snacks !! Yogurt, milk, nuts .. would make a better snack for you..

Ok dear. You do as doctor recommends. I have reduced weight by eating everything in portion control way. I eat vegetables and fruits more. Favourite stuff occassionally and in moderation along with good workout daily then able to lost weight

Portion control, in my opinion, is better that keto diet. My dietician told me cutting out carbs completely is not good.

Those are not herbs. Here in Korea, they call it orini-ip cheso (baby sprouts).

If you want to lose wait and balance your sugar you should eat whole grains instead of white ones. Like whole bread, brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa, .. anything that is made with white floor is bad for you. Needles to say you should stay away from anything that's sweet or fried. I am a nutritionist if you have any questions I'll be more than happy to help.

Rice is a high carb food. You need to cut it out completely until you get you weight down. Also drink water coffee, and tea only for beverages. Any other drinks are high in calories even if they are sugar free.

That's good you're listening to your doctor and eating healthy. I started a healthy diet several years ago and have lost 70 pounds.

You mean, usually, you eat like a dragon. But whenever you're sick, you do not eat. Am I right?
