Scattering of light which is a characteristic feature of atoms is blocked when the atom became in an ultracold state, --- this is called a qantum effect. To see how much light an atom may scatter, a light was beamed through a cloud of lithium atoms.
May we assert what would it be if now the temperature is decreased to make the atoms fill up the lowest energy states !!
