The captain of the fishing vessel "Bald Eagle II" is very grateful that members of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) stationed in Elizabeth City and Oregon Inlet in North Carolina answered his emergency call on Tuesday morning that his vessel was damaged and was drifting toward the shore.
Thanks to the superb work of the team members of both coast guard stations used a helicopter from Elizabeth City and a lifeboat crew from Oregon Inlet to rescue the four crew members of the fishing vessel with the helicopter to take them away from the stricken fishing vessel by hoisting them to the helicopter to the air station in Elizabeth City.
Thanks to the heroic act of the Coast Guard team members, all four males are safe and sound since they were wearing survival suits to prevent getting hypothermia due to the cold temperatures of the ocean near Southern Shores was at 56 degrees Fahrenheit.

The closest I was able to meet the Coast Guard was I worked for Domino's Pizza in Metairie and delivered pizza to their headquarters.
