The parents of Brody Sims who is 11 years of age are to be praised for their ability to teach Brody and his four siblings what to do when a fire was to break out inside of their home. The home that belonged to the Sims family which is located in Clarksville Tennessee caught fire on Sunday afternoon when the fire began in the kitchen of the Brady home while his parents were out of the home for a short time. Brody was outside of the house when his younger sister called 911 to get help from the local fire department to put out the house fire. Brody was able to get his siblings out of the house and into safety when he realized he had to get his 2 year old brother who was sleeping inside the house. Brody risked his life by running into the burning home to get his younger brother out of the home by getting him out of a back room. When the parents of the five children returned home, their home was destroyed. However they are thankful that everyone of them is alive and well. The Sims family will be getting some assistance from donations from persons through a GoFundMe account which will be useful for the family to recover the material losses from their burned out home this holiday season.

This is so sad, but they are so fortunate to have all their children alive. For the son, Good Job.

I agree with you since a home can be rebuilt while lives cannot be replaced.

This is a good example for families to train their children to know what to do in case of emergencies
